: Collect Button Collect Button
The
button is a very useful button. You can collect several messages at
once and open them all in one window to read, saving you time from having to
open a message one at a time.
Warning: The only problem with
the
button is that once you collect several messages to open, if you want to reply
to one of them before you have read all of the others, all of the messages after
the message to which you replied will be marked as read whether you actually
read it or not.
Solution: When collecting several message to read, when you find one
to which you want to reply, open that reply in a new
window.
Tip: Using the
button is especially useful when you only have message available that are
unread and you are using the
option.
For Dial-up Users: This option can
be a great time-saving device for you.
To collect messages, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your message options are shown. If they are not, see
the Show
Options page for instructions on turning the options on.
- Select all of the messages that you want to open together.
Tip: You can
click on
to select all of the messages available. |
- Click on the
button. Click
here to see a picture of what the messages will look like.
- When you are finished reading all messages, click on
located
at the bottom of the screen.
You must have the message options shown to be able to use this button.
See the Show
Options page for instructions on turning on the message options.
