Copying Information from One Class to Another
If you want to copy information from one Blackboard class to another, follow these
instructions:
- In the class that has the information you are wanting to use, go to
the Control Panel.
- Under Course Options on the bottom left-hand side of the page, click on Course
Copy.
- Click on Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course. This
means that you will be copying the materials from this class into
another class that already exists for you.
- On #1 "Select a Course," browse for the course into which you
wish to import the material.
- Click Select next to the course into which you wish to import the
material.
- On #2 "Select Course Materials," put a checkmark in the box next
to the items that you wish to copy over into your other course. Leave
boxes next to the items you do not want to copy empty.
Note:
All of the information that is located in a category of material will be
copied into your class. If you wish to only copy a singular item such
as a test, a pool, an assignment, or any other singular item, refer to Copying
One Item Into a Class.
Also, The word Enrollments on number 3 simply means the students who
are enrolled in the class you currently have open. In the case of a
test class, you have no enrollments. Do not check this item.
- Click Submit.
You will receive a receipt that indicates that your copy was
successful. To be sure, go to the course into which you copied the
material and check.
