- To avoid cheating, consider omitting that
exam and replacing it with discussion requirements, additional written
assignments, one-on-one oral/chat discussion with you, a group project, or
another assessment alternative.
- Have your exam proctored on campus or
on another college or high school campus. Require that the proctor see
a photo ID before the student takes the exam. Remember, though, most
proctored exam sites do not sit and watch the student, so students can
easily cheat on these exams.
- Make exams tough and allow students to
use textbook. Allow the exam to run only a certain amount of time
and don't allow students to backtrack.
- Set exams up in Blackboard so they are
graded automatically, even if you are not having an online class.
